Country Fire Authority

Merat Pty Ltd, Architects has completed the design and construction of an extensive number of new fire stations for the Country Fire Authority Victoria over the past decade.

The majority of these station are classified as Type 3B, permanently staffed stations whilst we have also completed a Type 3C station in Dandenong, the latter comprises a further step up in terms of scope providing a six bay motor room and sixteen bed dormitory.

The Omeo Station required the integration of CFA resources with Ambulance Victoria

The colocation of  CFA facilities with other essential service providers may become the model for future regional Victorian centres.
