The Microbiology Department provides both teaching and post graduate research facilities enabling opportunities for students to work with established scientists on a range of microbial initiatives.

Constructed in the 1970’s the facilities were in need of a fresh approach, one that recognized current protocols.

Where possible floors were open planned or adjacent modules provided with improved visual connections for both improved security and collaboration.
