This project involved the upgrade of the campus post mortem teaching suite to relevant and

recent compliance standards. The project was required to meet PC2/OGTR standards for microbiology facility. The goal of the facility upgrades was to improve management of student and staff movement with hygiene as the required outcome.

 

Besides having to achieve compliance across the entire facility when taking into consideration complex support infrastructure and spatial connections (materials, personnel and waste movement), another challenge for this project was that construction was located within a very old building shell.

 

The project works were completed on time and under budget.
